We do not own, operate, manage, or supervise the restaurants listed on our website.

All participating restaurants operate independently and remain responsible for their food preparation, customer service, regulatory compliance, and business operations.

Directory inclusion does not constitute restaurant certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of food quality.

3. Free Access for Visitors

Visitors may browse publicly available pizza restaurant listings, educational articles, and other directory information without paying membership or access fees.

Visitors may contact restaurants directly to inquire about menus, prices, delivery, takeaway, dining availability, and other services.

Any purchase or dining arrangement is made independently between the customer and the relevant restaurant.

4. Eligibility for Restaurant Listings

We welcome listing applications from eligible pizza restaurants and related food service businesses operating in Vancouver and surrounding Metro Vancouver communities.

We may request reasonable verification of business information before publication.

5. Paid Directory Listings and Advertising

PizzasVancouver.com may offer paid restaurant listings, enhanced business profiles, featured placements, and promotional advertising.

Depending on the selected package, advertising features may include:

Restaurant profiles and descriptions
Business addresses and telephone numbers
Website and online ordering links
Restaurant photographs and logos
Pizza specialties and menu highlights
Delivery and takeaway information
Featured directory placements
Other agreed promotional services

Advertising fees, applicable taxes, subscription durations, and included features will be disclosed before enrollment.

Paid advertising provides promotional visibility but does not guarantee customer inquiries, orders, reservations, sales, or revenue.

Paid or sponsored placements will be clearly identified.

6. Automatic Renewal of Paid Listings

To help participating restaurants maintain uninterrupted directory visibility, paid listing subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing period where the advertiser has expressly authorized recurring billing.

Unless cancelled before the next renewal date, the subscription will generally renew for the same duration at the agreed price.

The recurring amount, billing frequency, renewal conditions, and cancellation procedure will be clearly disclosed before enrollment.

Any proposed changes to subscription prices will be communicated in advance, with additional consent obtained where required by law.

Advertisers may cancel future automatic renewals at any time without cancellation penalties.

Cancellation requests may be submitted through our designated contact channels or another cancellation method made available during enrollment.

Cancellation will prevent subsequent renewal charges when received before the applicable renewal deadline.

7. Flexible Cancellation Policy

We believe restaurant advertising relationships should be fair, flexible, and transparent.

Participating restaurant owners may request cancellation of their paid directory listings at any time.

No additional cancellation penalties will apply.

Advertisers may request immediate removal of their listing or allow it to remain active until the end of the current prepaid subscription period.

Cancellation requests will be acknowledged and processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Cancellation of future renewals does not automatically reverse charges for advertising services already delivered.

Any applicable refund will be determined according to our Refund Policy and mandatory legal requirements.

8. Fair Refund Policy

PizzasVancouver.com aims to maintain reasonable and transparent relationships with participating restaurants.

For standard prepaid directory listings:

Before Publication: A full refund may be requested if no advertising services have been delivered.

Within Seven Calendar Days of Publication: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for the unused portion of their subscription.

After Seven Calendar Days: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for unused full calendar days remaining in the prepaid advertising period.

Refunds will generally be calculated according to the unused portion of the agreed subscription term.

Separately priced custom promotional services already completed may be excluded from refunds where disclosed in advance and legally permitted.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 15 calendar days.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory refund rights.

9. Accuracy of Restaurant Information

Participating restaurants are responsible for ensuring that information submitted for publication is accurate, truthful, and current.

This may include:

Restaurant names and addresses
Telephone numbers
Website and ordering links
Operating hours
Menu descriptions
Food prices and promotions
Delivery and takeaway availability
Photographs and logos
Dietary and allergen information

We welcome reasonable requests to correct inaccurate or outdated information.

Visitors should independently confirm restaurant details before placing orders or visiting establishments.

10. Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance

All listed restaurants remain independently responsible for complying with applicable food safety, public health, business licensing, employment, and consumer protection requirements.

Participating restaurants must not submit:

Deceptive pricing or promotions
Unsubstantiated quality claims
False food safety certifications
Misleading dietary or allergen claims
Unauthorized photographs or trademarks
Fabricated customer testimonials

We may request corrections or decline advertising that does not meet these standards.

16. Reviews and Testimonials

Where restaurant reviews or testimonials are permitted, submissions must be genuine, lawful, and respectful.

Fabricated reviews, harassment, discriminatory content, and unlawful submissions are prohibited.

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of independently submitted customer opinions.

17. Intellectual Property

Original website content, branding, design, graphics, and other proprietary materials belong to PizzasVancouver.com or their respective owners.

Participating restaurants retain ownership of their submitted logos, photographs, menus, and promotional materials.

By submitting content for publication, advertisers grant PizzasVancouver.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, format, and promote those materials in connection with the agreed directory services.

Advertisers confirm that they possess the necessary rights and permissions to submit such content.

18. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information collected through inquiries, listing applications, subscription transactions, and website functionality will be handled according to our published Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential commercial losses arising from ordinary directory use or service interruptions, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

23. Listing Suspension and Removal

We may suspend or remove listings containing materially inaccurate information, misleading claims, unlawful advertising, or serious violations of these Terms.

Where reasonably practical, participating restaurants will be given an opportunity to correct an issue before removal.

Immediate action may be taken where necessary to address significant legal, safety, or security concerns.

Any applicable refund will be determined according to these Terms and mandatory legal requirements.

Our preferred approach is respectful communication and good-faith resolution.

Nothing in these Terms prevents any individual or business from exercising statutory rights or pursuing available legal remedies.
